About ReproHH

Operated by UCSF’s Department of Family and Community Medicine, the Reproductive Health Hotline (ReproHH) is a free, confidential, and on-demand phone service staffed by UCSF clinicians specializing in sexual and reproductive health (SRH). We provide clinical information to U.S.-based healthcare providers. ReproHH is sustainably funded through 2030.

ReproHH aims to:

  • Help improve maternal and infant health outcomes by providing on-demand information clinician-to-clinician.
  • Address comprehensive reproductive health issues raised by providers, including contraception, pregnancy management, gynecological procedures, menopause, and more.
  • Connect healthcare providers to additional resources for administrative, legal, and logistical support.

ReproHH Advisory Committee

ReproHH is informed by an Advisory Committee, which includes doulas, licensed midwives, advanced practice clinicians, pharmacists, youth advocates, and physicians across a wide array of specialties. Members of our advisory committee work in various settings, including indigenous, tribal, and urban health clinics and with other communities with limited access to care in every region in the US.

Partner with us

We believe that advancing reproductive and sexual health requires strong partnerships with clinicians, health systems, and local communities.  We’re committed to learning how we can best support your efforts on the ground.

Whether you’re part of a community health center, advocacy group, public health department, or industry partner, we welcome collaboration to raise awareness of this resource and extend its impact. While we do not — and cannot — accept funding from pharmaceutical companies, we are open to working with industry stakeholders to share accurate, evidence-based information with clinicians.
