Terms of Service

Thank you for using ReproHH. Please review the following important information about the scope and limitations of this service.

  • ReproHH provides clinical information to U.S.-based health care providers only. Information provided is for educational purposes and is not intended as a substitute for professional medical care or advice, nor to replace a healthcare professional’s clinical judgement regarding their individual patient care. ReproHH does not provide medical or legal determinations, nor does the information provided substitute for local medical-legal consultation or employer-specific protocols.
  • ReproHH provides clinical guidance that is based on evidence-informed practices, current medical guidelines, and standards of care in the state of California. The clinicians staffing this hotline are based in California, and the information they provide is intended to adhere to their licensure and the laws of the state of California governing the provision of medical care.
  • Hotline clinicians on ReproHH retain the right to terminate calls at their discretion.
  • Please do not offer any patient personal health information (PHI). ReproHH does not collect or save PHI and information provided is not patient-specific.
  • UCSF/ReproHH have done our best to limit the information collected and retained about callers in our records. However, while callers can choose not to share their names or identifying information with our team, we cannot guarantee complete anonymity. For example, call data may be subject to collection by phone carriers or other telecommunications systems outside of our control. By using this service, callers acknowledge these limitations and agree to use the service understanding these inherent privacy constraints.
  • ReproHH does not consent to the recording of calls, nor do we record live calls. ReproHH is unable to provide you with written guidance or a summary of completed calls.
  • By using this service, you affirm that you are a U.S.-based healthcare provider. You also acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to make sure that you are practicing medicine consistent with the laws of your state. In states or settings where termination of pregnancy is not legally an option, ReproHH can provide other clinical options for managing care and may recommend to the user that they seek legal counsel as well as local resources. ReproHH will not recommend or refer to specific legal, case management, or local resources.
  • All users are required to review these terms before being connected to a Hotline Clinician.
